couple.top is operated by Shanghai Boren Information Technology Co., Ltd. (trading as "Top Couple"), a company registered in Shanghai, China. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Shanghai Boren Information Technology Co., Ltd. as the operator of the Service.
For purchases made outside mainland China, the seller may be Shanghai Boren Information Technology Co., Ltd. for its PayPal checkout or Sailor & Oasis Co., Limited ("S&O") for orders sold through the S&O Merchant of Record checkout. For purchases made in mainland China through WeChat Pay or Alipay, the seller is Shanghai Boren Information Technology Co., Ltd. The seller for each purchase is identified at checkout and further explained in Section 5.
couple.top is a software service that generates written insight reports. You add profiles, choose a report type, and spend credits to generate a report. Reports are produced by AI models and delivered digitally inside the web app as soon as your credits are deducted. No physical goods are shipped.
Reports are generated text, and nothing more. They are not legal, medical, financial or psychological advice, and they must not be used as the basis for decisions about anyone's health, employment, credit, housing or legal rights.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy credits. You agree to give accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Credits are a prepaid unit of account inside couple.top. They are not money, they are not a security, they carry no cash value, they earn no interest, and they cannot be transferred, resold or exchanged for cash. Credits do not expire.
The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, in the currency shown there. Any applicable taxes are calculated and shown before you confirm the order.
The seller for each purchase depends on your location and the checkout arrangement. The seller is identified to you before you confirm the order.

Reports and credits are digital content delivered immediately. Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a distance contract (for example, 14 days in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), you ask us to begin delivery immediately and acknowledge that you lose that right once delivery has begun.
Refund eligibility is set out in full in our Refund Policy at couple.top/refund, which forms part of these Terms.
For purchases made outside mainland China, Shanghai Boren Information Technology Co., Ltd. handles refunds for orders sold by it through its PayPal checkout, with approved refunds processed through PayPal. Sailor & Oasis Co., Limited ("S&O") handles refunds for orders sold by it through the S&O Merchant of Record checkout, with approved refunds processed through the payment provider used for the relevant order.
For purchases made in mainland China, Shanghai Boren Information Technology Co., Ltd. handles refunds for orders paid through WeChat Pay or Alipay.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right you have under the law of the country where you live.
You keep ownership of the information you submit. You give us permission to process it for the purpose of generating reports for you, as described in our Privacy Notice at couple.top/privacy. If you submit information about another person, you must have their permission to do so. This includes their name, gender and birth details.
You agree not to use the Service to break any law, to infringe anyone's rights, to submit another person's data without their consent, to attempt to reverse engineer or resell the Service, or to create content that is unlawful, defamatory or harmful.
The Service, including its software, models, interface and report templates, belongs to us or to our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the reports generated for you. You may not resell, redistribute or systematically extract reports, report content, or the Service itself.
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service permanently, we will refund unused credits on request.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, that we are legally required to close, or that is used for fraud. You may close your account at any time from your profile settings.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties, and we do not warrant that any report is accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the purchase that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, you may stop using the Service and close your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and the courts of Shanghai have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and nothing in this section takes that right away.
